The Department of Sports Sciences focuses on the interdisciplinary study of the human body, society, and sports. The following three areas of study are offered to train sports instructors, coaches, and research scholars:

FUJITA Yukio is a Professor with research interests in Sports Physiology. Professor FUJITA teaches on the doctor's course in the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences.

YOSHIOKA Nobuhiko (M.Ed) is a Professor with research interests in Sports Biomecanics.

TANIFUJI Chika is an Associate Professor with research interests in Management for physical education and sports.

KOIZUMI Keisuke (Ph.D.) is an Associate Professor with research interests in Exercise Physiology and Health Sciences. Associate Professor KOIZUMI teaches on the doctor's course in the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences.
